Curley's Wife
Curleys wife's name is unknown. In the book, she always seems to be in the way of the 'sunshine', which could, maybe refer to her being part of ruining George and Lennie's dream of owning their own farm.
Her appearance is 'full rouged lips', nails painted red, 'red mules' (shoes) with 'red ostrich feathers on her shoes'. she is basically described to be wearing all red clothing. She is maybe described to be wearing red clothes as red is a conetation, which could symbolise... Love, anger, passion or danger.
